VRAP is an independent agency for literary rights, communications and events, founded in 2025 by Sara Jandrlić.

It exists because that combination didn't: agencies sell rights, or they handle PR, or they run events, but rarely all three, for the same book, under the same roof. VRAP does. Whatever a title needs to find its readers, we handle it ourselves, rather than handing you off between specialists.

Sara grew up multilingual, in a home where books were a given and television was not. She works in six languages: German, Swiss German, French, English, Croatian and Spanish, plus enough Italian to get by, and is currently teaching herself Danish, one Duolingo streak at a time. That range isn't a party trick: it's why VRAP can sell rights into markets many agencies never reach, with no market considered too small or too far.

Sara spent many years in corporate luxury, where she rose from assistant to worldwide manager. It gave her a close-up view of how the biggest names in the world build their communications and PR, a level of expertise books rarely get. Books, meanwhile, had always been the constant in her life. Bringing the two together is what became VRAP.

The name is personal too: VRAP comes from Vrapček - "little sparrow" in Croatian - a nickname she was given at birth. It's a small detail, but it says something about how we work: with care, with character, and with genuine investment in the stories we represent.

We work with publishers, authors and cultural organisations who want their titles to travel as far as they can, into as many languages and markets as possible. In practice, that means three things, working together rather than in isolation: representing rights internationally, shaping the communications and PR strategy around a book or author, and organising the launches and appearances that bring it to readers.
